Please explain how you got to this conclusion. lmao
There's pages of post complaining about this and its all over reddit, jesus christ, the attempt at gaslighting
It was a typo and you a liar
post a video, screen record of your system specs, boot the game and walk through Kalm
I BET YOU IT'S NOT FUN IF YOU'RE ON A NON NVME SDD
Put up or shut up
Your claims are utterly ridiculous if not outright misinformation.
I play the game with a regular old SATA SSD which does not come anywhere near the speeds you talk about, and I have had absolutely no issues with playing the game.
If you have issues playing the game smoothly on anything less than what you posted, then you have a bottleneck in your system somewhere
In this very same thread, somebody said it's not the speed, the game is just messed up you will have problems regardless
yet you want me to believe you are on an OLD SATA SSD slower than the base ps5 SSD that it comes with, and you want me to believe you have no texture pop in this game
YOU ARE LIAR, like I SAID POST A VIDEO OF YOY WALKING THROUGH THE KALM WITH NO TEXTURE POP IN
Too lazy to install on a slow ssd or hdd to see the difference.
5000mb/sec most certainly is not, the recommend is 1000mb/sec + They discussed the caching and load on their forum and feedback.
While most nvmie 4.0 drives are 5000mb- 7500mb/sec, The performance optimal required are not that high simply because that is what you have.
Older SSD's will struggle a bit, but if a gamer is 1200mb/sec and higher they will not have any load degradation.
IF they have stutter that is a different issue. Pop outside the games settings, then it is a combo of drive load and memory speed.
And if your pc specs does meet not ONLY the minimum but exceeds the recommended HW specs, and you still have issue's ingame ... BET your golden coin GIL on it that it's caused by BAD BAD GAME CODING ... and or .. more often than not OS / gpu drivers !!

This game uses a broken version of DirectStorage, even on my crucial P5 with a speed of 6000+mb/s has stutters and even if I turn on momentum cache the drive becomes 12000+ Mb/s and still stutters.
Now apart from Dead Space Remake this is the only game that stutters (dead space remake has unfixable traversal stutter).
To the OP, you have been going on at everybody about how it has to be a certain speed and they've been telling you it's not that. NOW I'M TELLING YOU, learn to research things a bit and you will see that you're talking out ya arse!
