Discovered a neat little trick with Barret.

Whether or not this was in the tutorial or not, I dunno. I stumbled upon it on accident cause of a misinput lol. You can bypass the animation of cocking the gun to push the overcharge bar up, if you push it as the gun is going down for a reload from standard fire. Lets you get overcharges out like mad in those critical situations.

Yeah I've been doing this too, works great got pumping up the ATB bar. Also combine Chakra with Lifesaver to tank for the party.

I believe this was a thing in the original remake where if you timed it just after you finish an attack it would animated more quickly. Even if I'm wrong though, it is a nice thing to have just to make that aspect less of a pain.
