Are you playing on Bluetooth or wired? Mine is wired so I didn't know what cause it

Vibrations in part 1 on PC were bad even with the last patch.
Dualsense wired.
I like big vibrations like in Death Stranding.
I hope Rebirth will be better than part 1 for this.

It uses haptic feedback rumble on dualsense. Which only works wired. Also you have to make sure to actually turn up the volume of the dual sense speaker for it to work.

To add on to this, make sure to set your controller as "default communications device" in the windows sound settings. Your headphones or speakers should of course be the default normal audio device. The haptic feedback is great in this game once you get it working. You can even feel it as you bump into crowds of people lol.

100% not true, I use Bluetooth and rumble is working perfectly fine. The speaker can not work without a wire though.

But is it the special duelsense rumble or just regular rumble like the xbox controller? From my understanding, the ps5 controller haptic feedback relies on volume to produce the vibration, and that only works on pc through wired. Otherwise, you just get regular old boring rumble.

Thanks for this message I finally fix it. I comb through settings to found out that I disable speaker for Dualsense for an eternity lol. somehow it vibration are tied to a speaker itself

i beleeive its because it uses a linear actuator, which is essentially works like a sound coil, so they essentially send a soundwave into the rumble which is what gives it that signiture warblely rumble. sometimes if you put your ear to the controller as it rumbles you can make out the sound used to make the rumble effect if the sepecific game uses that function.

If somehow you have this same problem and found this thread.
Make sure you NOT disable Dualsense in the Sound Settings.
Somehow the vibration are tied to a speaker. I disable it because it change my sound output
