Be honest, how is your 1600 series doing with this game?
Do you smell anything burning yet?

Maybe they're busy playing the game?

Gefroce 1600 series owner aren't expecting the best performance, they are just happy that they can play at all. I guess that is why they aren't complaining about performance.

Or maybe they can't reply because their rig has gone up in flames?
My 1660 Super is performing great and the only issues I've had so far are the severe, or even extreme, loading screens.

Move the game onto an NVME SSD

It is, but my mobo only partially supports NVMe so the read/write isn't that fantastic. But we're talking 15-30 min waiting time for some cutscenes etc. so it feels like another issue to me.
I have a 1660ti and it's performing awesome around 70fps. Also added the ultrawide mod. No stutters. Had a few spots where it drops to 50fps.

I'm on Chapter 3 right now. So... no doubts that it'll stay consistent.

I'd say the only things are the characters not being SUPER detailed unless you move the camera angle closer when exploring the grass lands. Not really that noticeable when you're actually playing. Can definitely tell that I'm missing something in terms of eye candy (ex the ocean looks like ♥♥♥♥), but the game still looks really damn good.

Heeh.
16 gig internal memory and an i5-4690K overclocked to 4.4 GHz. The system has ample power and cooling so the rest shouldn't be relevant.

Hmm. Yeah I was wondering if the CPU was causing issues. Sounds like it isn't. When you run the game, do you have statistics in the corner of the screen on? Mine says GPU usage is 99%, which is a good indication that all other components are doing their job.

Load times have been minimal for me though, so I'm not sure. How much free memory do you have on your SSD?
