Who thought Chadley was a good idea

The side tasks are monotonous as it is, must I have to listen to this little prick every single time I do anything? He is insufferable, and I swear I've heard more voicelines from him than any other character.

Really looking forward to a mod that silences him permanently

I think Yuffie is quite a fun character though, Chadley just isn't that. Like I said in my previous post he really reminds me of Hope Estheim from FFXIII ,his looks,but also the way he talks.

Yeah I liked the game,but most of the chars not so much,besides Lightning and Sazh and Snow,who reminded me a bit of Cloud. But still I think its intentional somehow how he looks so much like him and talks like him ? Theyre pretty much identical to me.

The major boss fight in the grasslands necessary for the windmill side quest had the girl version talking over the fight for the first minute. It was ridiculous.

Decisions like this continue to baffle me. I still like the game, but whoever thought this was a good idea needs to not be speaking up during brainstorming sessions for the third game.

I love MAI though. She proves that the creative team was very aware of how annoying Chadley is, because they had him create his own sub-Chadley and he immediately hates it too.

Game has been since start a massive disappointment. It uses the Ubislops formula and used the ESG/DEI funding. (everything was a checkbox)
Chadley is annoying, characters act so awkward. Scenes don't make sense. How this game was considered close contentder for GOTY is beyond me.

If anything i grew to appreciate Remake over this game.

Yeah that is quite annoying but theres an option in the menu so you can choose for her to not talk when you atleast "re-do" them..

We need a 'cut the crap' mod. Rid of 90% minigames and quests. Put the items from those games/quests as boss drops, stealable, in chests, and buyable.

The only problem with him I have is that some of his dialogues are made in background, but some, even tho I know he's just going to say two same sentences, require whole ass animation of Cloud taking out his communication device and this takes ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ages. Could be just another voice message in background instead without stopping the game.

Agreed, Chandley's commenteary is completely redundant and obnoxious 95 % of the time. The chores themselves are alright but he himself with his constant backseat chatter is hard to bear. I wonder if this is a gamedesign choice to "remind" the player why they scanned that crystal in the first place. Either that or some sort of celebratory encouragement after yet another 'research quest' has been completed. Perhaps crap like that gets implemented when they think of the younger players.

I like Chadley. Especially his banter with MAI which can get pretty funny at times too.
