I'm guessing you're talking about the part where, in the original FF7 you technically could kill the Zolom but you were "supposed" to realize that you can catch chocobo and instead ride them across the swamp to go fast enough not to get caught.
Its a mandatory fight in this.
Its not that hard, learn to parry the attacks to inflict stagger. Its also weak to ice, use tifa's ice ability.
No I didn't. The game is so broken that even after finding a couple different bandaids I'm lucky just to walk around Kalm without getting soft locked.
Thanks.
Did a quick search & I'm seeing that it seems to be overpowered but after seeing the patterns a straightforward fight.
"headbutt" is always straight ahead, "Snap" is always short range, etc.
Those are pretty significant upgrades over the regular stuff.
Not sure if the game has general level scaling - im playing on dynamic anyway.
To answer my own question: yes you can grind it out.
Many may neglect doign those and the sub lines linked to them to do the ADVANCED transmutes that Require Special enemy items (talons , claws, beaks, feathers etc , by also defeating those enemies in order to transmute. )
Advice to the others. DO the intel Towers - then intel points - choco digging - and springs You will need to get your transmuting and craft skill high enough in later chapters to do much higher than advanced gear. and items that give much larger stat boots for each character.
(unless playing the lowest difficulty and you can get away with some slacking). I slacked and had to go back to start map and knock them all out then progress clearing them all.
