Where is Zack?

im about 20 hours in, got done with all the side slice of life stuff at the beach map and now im just wondering when the story will wrap back around with zack? surely they dont just show zack in the beginning and then just be like welp thats it.... right?

20hrs could be just about anywhere depending on how much exploring and side content you're doing vs just blowing through the main story, but yes, Zack's alternate timeline story does pop up a few times through the game.

I hate to say it bro but zack is NOT a main character in this game, he is important sure but his screentime is not anywhere near as much as the main party. I'm sure we will see a bit more of him in part 3 but remember, this story is about Cloud, Aerith and Sephiroth.
