LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 952] FIX for Amd users

RX 7900 GRE here.
To everyone who experiencing "LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 952]"
Set background quality from "Ultra" to "High".
Since it's the only option that has an Ultra setting there's not a problem to turn it down a bit.
After that - grass in plains wont be flicker black from time to time and your driver won't crash anymore eather.

Important note:
My advice solves the crash problem ONLY for users with AMD Radeon video cards. This guide most likely will not help users with Nvidia.

UPD:
After the last patch, bug with black flickering grass still presents (with "backround quality" set on Ultra).
The only plus is that game not crashing anymore with (background set on ultra.)

any other ideas? I have been getting this issue since i started the game. I've dropped settings but still crashing. Running a 5900x, a770 16GB, 32GB ram with windows 11.

Try driver version 25.1.1 and if that doesn't work, then you could attempt to revert back to 24.8.1 or 24.7.1, which has worked for others.

This works for me also, but I hope they release a driver fix for this error soon. I want to run the Ultra setting since it definitely looks better

I was getting that cause i had an OC on my gpu, stopped when i turned it off

- RAM DDR5 32 GB
- AMD Adrenaline Edition 24.7.1 (Downgraded cause read that could help)

Graphic Settings:
- Res: 4k
- Scaling: 100% both
- Background: High

Game Progress:
- Chapter 2: Exploring

Problems I still have after trying everything:
- LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 952] still happening
- After a while, when I open the map it is just blank and, after that, when I open the menu the screen goes black, no error showing up, just keeps being black

PD:. The game is beautiful but these errors are making a really bad experience out of it

I've got the latest adrenalin/driver for AMD, and didn't dongrade any of it.
Game was crashed only when background was set on ultra.
I just set graphics to "high" preset and then just set the background from ultra to high, manualy. I didnt change the resolutions 100 (max) and 50 (min) scale as the game sets itself. Just set a 60 fps mod (as my tv a 4k 60 Hz) And that's it. No problems or crashes since yesterday.
