1000 cards fix
Look at this: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/1150?tab=posts&BH=1

You can use the file linked below to accomplish that. It will fake an RTX 4090 device ID. Just install it into Vortex with this extension and it will work.

https://github.com/cdozdil/d3d12-proxy/releases/tag/v0.1.1

I found this info, but I don't kmow how install. Help please

These GPUs do not have the techs needed. So I fail to see how faking there identity fixes anything.

Nah. It goes in End/Binaries/Win64 next to the game's exe

I did it, but it doesn't work

The first correct answer. It's a dll file so put in the same directory as the executable.

This is risky and you have to
trust the guy providing it.

Don't do that. Don't give me hope.

True LOL because the modders are like us, just regular game players. They have nothing to do with the actual development of games. The only exception to this that I could think of is Bethesda handing out some type of modding launcher or something for one of their games??

Some developers provide kits for the players to use in modding. Beth has done that in the past. They called it the Creation Kit. But DLLs can contain malicious code, so have to be careful

Waiting for confirmation from 10X0 user
WT_Neptune Jan 25 @ 11:00am
I'm getting the impression the modder doesn't know what he's talking about

That dll, in the GitHub, isn't specifically for FF7 and hasn't been updated since March 2024
So did anyone try it? I refunded so I can't try it, but if there's confirmation it works I will re-buy

No but I'm assuming not

Don't lose hope my brothers, there will be a fix eventually. Either from the modders, or from Square themselves, but I have higher hopes from the first. Don't give satisfaction, to the clowns that can run the game, and instead of enjoying it, they rub salt on our wounds, here on the forums

Yeah I'm not buying an interim GPU just yet
I installed Vortex, d3d12, dxgi, blablabla... I couldn't. I gave up.
