Beautiful port (we made it in his video guys!)
SomeOrdianaryGamer said it was a crappy PC port so I decided to test myself. Happy to report it's beautiful and runs amazing.

Mutahar is a grifter.
if you find the person here that uploaded the dlss 4 files from cyberpunk 2077, you can make it look better as well

Really? Can I use DLSS4 on my 4090? I thought it was only for 5xxx? Or is that just frame gen 3x and 4x?

He does admit often he only games on PS5 and uses Linux on PC and hates windows.
Same here, at least up to the end of the Nibelheim section, smooth performance (better than FF16 with everything maxed and comparable res/dlss settings on my system) and great visuals. For me the only thing that might require tweaking is the popup of vegetation, but I assume it will be something easy to fix.

The latter. In fact, the upgrade in image quality on DLSS 4 is absurd, it's much clearer, especially in motion. It's so good that you can pretty much get away with going 1 preset lower and still have superior image quality to the previous model.

For example, DLSS Balanced on 4.0 looks better than DLSS Quality on 3.x. I find this upgrade in image quality way more notable than the multi frame gen, which will only be really relevant to people with 240hz monitors, anyone on 144 or less doesn't really need 3x or x4 FG in my view...

But yeah the DLSS4 model is insane, it solves the "image quality question" of modern games as far as I can tell and I can't wait until the grifters stop talking about nvidia being bad long enough for everyone else to notice how good it is.

He just jumps on the latest drama or bandwagon and repeats reddit takes he doesn't really believe in, like many other gaming channels crying about woke video games and saying the industry is dying every tuesday. I got very tired of this shtick and I stay away from it.

dude that first area runs well for everyone. Not saying the port is bad me personally i've only had a few problems. But that is probably the worst way to test it.

I like how he exposes people with the help of other youtubers like Karl, ha.

dlss4 is not exclusive for 50x cards, only the multi gen feature is, but every improvement that dlss 4 offers is coming to all rtx cards, and since you have a 4090, framegen was also upgraded to look better and use less vram.

but cyberpunk as an example, the peformance mode in transform DLSS mode which is the new one, can look better in a lot of cases then the quality DLSS of dlss3 in 1440p and even in 1080p which is crazy, cuz dlss in 1080p before was horrible, now its pretty decent, 4k as well ofc and the peformance boost is massive.

From what you've played which area would you say is the most demanding? I am defenitelly gonna test more after playing more just wanted to do a quick test. I know some games are good in the start and get worse in later areas or vice/versa.

could not reply to your comment not sure why sorry about that. But yeah in that first area my game was running flawlessly at 120 fps max settings at 1440p. Then when i got to chapter 1 in the first village my frames dropped considerably to about 70-80. I would say the first village and than kalm to be the most demanding. Not sure about other peoples experiences though.

May I ask your CPU/GPU?

Edit: I heard this game later on has open world sections which I assume will be more demanding.

The game runs great for me also. Near flawless really. I'm very impressed with the port. I think in a few years once people's hardware catches up this will be known as the definitive version of the game.

yeah sure im running a rx6800 and a ryzen 5 5600x. I know already that these specs are not "top of the line" but they are decent enough. The thing is the performance of the game is not even bad for me at all. I'm just experiencing some issues in terms of game glitches and some textures not loading in. But apart from that the port isn't too bad. And yeah the open world did have some effect on my performance for sure but fps wise it's still completely playable.
