Just tried this and deleted "D3DDriverByteCodeBlob_V32902_D57867_S1108678447_R0.ushaderprecache", it recompiled the shaders but did it very quickly, but when i update my graphics driver it takes much longer, so not sure it has the same effect.
For that you first need to disable Shader cache Completely in Nvidia control panel ( First remove the "D3DDriverByteCodeBlob" again though ),then reboot your pc and delete all Nvidia shader cache files located in "C:\Users\USER\AppData\LocalLow\NVIDIA\PerDriverVersion\DXCache" folder.
Then enable shader cache again in Nvidia control panel and reboot your pc again. Now you should have the long shader cache build up.
Do note this also clears the cache completely for all your other games aswell.
I have Intel GPU 😅
Check in that same folder location "\LocalLow\Intel\ShaderCache"
I dont know how Intel gpu's work and what app you use to control settings, but look for a way first to completely disable shader cache before removing the files.
Otherwise just google for "clearing Intel Gpu shader cache"
No option to disable it in the graphics software.
I found the folder LocalLow\Intel\ShaderCache and deleted most files but some could not be deleted. Game did not recompile shaders when i started it.
Google also tells me to use Windows Disk Cleanup to delete DirectX Shader Cache but this did not work either.
Guess the only way to do it on Intel GPU is to revert the driver and then update again.
They can get corrupt, give worse performance over time, rebuilding should fix this.
@Colt,you cant remove certain cache files because they are in use, hence my recommendation to disable cache completely first.
