FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH

FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH

Преглед на статистиките:
FF7 Rebirth is one of the worst unoptimized games ever
Please do not come here and tell me it's the hardware, this game runs horrendously in pc, I more than the minum requirements and it still runs horrible even at the lowest settings possible, it has dlss support, yet nvidia has not release any drivers for the game, for those that like keyboard, there's not even a mouse arrow in the menus, stutterring is a normal occurance, textures take forever to load, cutscenes get stuck whenever they want, and most of this issues get somewhat resolve if you play the game on an ssd, it still takes time to load all at times, but here comes the biggest issue, crashes, nothings solves this, you can play on your ssd, has the lowest possible settings, the most powerful pc with 14th generation hardware, and you still have to suffer from crashes, why? I seriously want to know who playtested this, and there's so many reviews online that say this is a great pc port, but that is not true, the game is not ready, someone needs to fix this now, there's no way they release such a high profile game such as final 7 in such a sorry state, the pc market is extremely profitable and people are mad because of the slop we got, and rightfully so.

i'm not looking to get any issue resolve regarding hardware, and anyone saying the game runs perfectly is an idiot, I have an i5 10 generation, rtx 3060 12 gb, 32 gb of ram, I tried to run the game at low settings the moment I saw the insane stutters, and to clarify, the minimum requirement for this game to run at low settings is suppose to be and i3 8 generation proccesor, still the 16 gb of ram, I have more than the require minimum, yet I can't properly run the game at even the lowest settings and having change to an ssd, which greatly improve the performance and got rid of nearly all my initial complaints, until it hit the crashes, it cannot run without crashing, at lowest settings, with ssd, and above the minimum requirements, it still crashes, every single time, as is not like the game looks bad at the lowest settings either, is that it is completely unplayable in its current state.

A friend also bought this game, but unlike me, he has an i7 14 generation, rtx 4090, 32 gb of ram, and he encounter the same problems, stuttering, crashes, textures not loading, the same things that happen to me, so don't come to thinking this is not an issue, and take that ♥♥♥♥ out of your mouth, anyone saying is not an optimization problem, is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clown, and to be fair, it seems not everyone has this issues, but it doesn't exist in a vaccum, too many people are having issues and it is something that needs to fix as soon as possible.

This is False, i have both a rtx 3060 12 gb and a 3080. on the 3060 12 gb it runs good at 1080p with everything high/ultra and dlss. I notice it sometimes dips at 54ish when im at open world but its the crappy unreal engine this game is using. Seriously, whoever made the unreal engine should be fired. One of the worst engines for gaming (this same engine is used for the dead space remake, marvel rival and silent hill remake. its trash). Even the RE engine that runs Resident Evil 4 remake runs better and looks better....:TheRooster:
Game is hitching all over the place for me.

What are your PC specifications?

It's silky smooth for me using the following hardware and settings:

5800X3D
32gb RAM
4070
Gen4 NvME
W10, latest updates

Everything high with DLSS @ 4K, dynamic scaling max 100%, min 66%, solid 60FPS.

There is some texture popping but it's nothing major.
Remember, just because it doesn't happen to you, doesn't mean it's happening to someone else
Square did an overall okay job with the port. Although it's not as bad, the same stuttering and frame drop issues from Remake persist in Rebirth. My PC specs are:
Ryzen 7 5700X
RTX 4070
64 GB RAM

Maxed out settings 1440p and frame rates range between 75-95 fps in open areas and 60-70 fps in populated areas. I've seen it dip to the 30's a couple of times too. Overall, I still enjoy the game. Hopefully, Square patches it out

^I think its the unreal engine. i have 2 systems one with a rtx 3060 12gb and a new one with a 3080. Im playing this game on the old system: Amd Ryzen 7 5700gG, 32gb ram, rtx 3060 12gb and the game installed on a 1tb nand, the setting im using is at 1080p, ultra/high, with dlss and get inside area around 60+fps, outworld 54ish-60fps with some stutters and dips here and there (but i blame the trash unreal engine). It playes a little better if i set from ultra to high with some settings in medium.:TheRooster:

Make sure you are running the game from an NVMe SSD. It will not run properly from an HDD or SATA SSD.
1. if this were true, then it should list an NVME ssd as a minimum requirement.
2. this is not true, i have the game loaded on an NVME ssd and have extremely frequent softlocks.
What an ignorant post. People are indeed installing this game on SATA SSDs and HDDs and running into severe problems, because they are not supported. For comparison, the internal NVMe SSD of PS5 has at least 5500 MB/s of bandwidth, while a SATA SSD has only 500 MB/s bandwidth, which is not much faster than an HDD. tsk tsk tsk

The game runs fine on a SATA SSD, I'm running of a Samsung 870 Evo with zero issues on one of my rigs.

What do you think this game needs with 6GB\s of storage data?

Turn off reflex, it's broken in many unsupported games. Also switch to dlss 3.80.10.0.
I had the same issues with softlocking and the black screen upon pausing as others, I uninstalled and reinstalled on my primary drive(initial install was on a secondary drive) and afterward it's now playing flawlessly for me on high settings.

Because there have been countless threads of people with SATA SSDs that are having problems. A SATA SSD is not much faster than a HDD, so no surprise there.

First of all, Low Latency Mode in the NCP is not the same as Reflex, and when Reflex is turned on in a game (this game does not have that option), Reflex supersedes the NCP Low Latency Mode.

Second, I tried with the NCP Low Latency Mode set to off initially. Same result.

Third, I've actually put the DLSS 4 DLL in this game's relevant folder from Cyberpunk 2077 and set it to Preset J via NvidiaProfileInspector. DLSS does not affect this type of hitching in any way.

Fourth, I have the FFVIIHook Rebirth version running, and I'm using this INI, tweaked for my specific GPU and display: https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy7rebirth/mods/3?tab=description

That INI still doesn't address the hitching. This is not something that happens in VII Remake Intergrade.

EDIT: After using the Special K injector, I realized that for some reason the game was not activating VRR and was in Composed Flip mode. I used Special K to restart my GPU driver, VRR is now engaged and the game is now in Hardware Independent Flip mode. This reduced the hitching dramatically. It is still there in parts, but no longer unbearable.

I can highly recommend using Special K to help fix this issue, it doesn't break the game at all.

Runs fine for me. Sounds like a $$$ problem. I recommend lifting yourself up by your bootstraps and improving your life circumstances until you amass a surplus of discretionary income that you can use to procure new computer hardware.
You're mentally ill.

Ok glad you figured it out. I didn't need special k, vrr is working fine for me.

Also I'd advise against "dlss4" -- it's actually 3.10 -- because it makes the game look worse, all alpha on trees flicker like crazy. The latest version of dlss is not always the best in all games.
Playing on 7900x3d 64gb 6200mhz ram 4tb gen4 nvme Rtx 4090. All custom water loop and stable overclocked. I kinda have to agree... it runs ok but I've only played for 2 hours or so and I've already experienced 4 outright crashes and 2 hangs that I had to taskmanager out of. I don't usually experience any issues like this.

Disable your OC and see if it runs fine.
