FF7 Rebirth is one of the worst unoptimized games ever
Please do not come here and tell me it's the hardware, this game runs horrendously in pc, I more than the minum requirements and it still runs horrible even at the lowest settings possible, it has dlss support, yet nvidia has not release any drivers for the game, for those that like keyboard, there's not even a mouse arrow in the menus, stutterring is a normal occurance, textures take forever to load, cutscenes get stuck whenever they want, and most of this issues get somewhat resolve if you play the game on an ssd, it still takes time to load all at times, but here comes the biggest issue, crashes, nothings solves this, you can play on your ssd, has the lowest possible settings, the most powerful pc with 14th generation hardware, and you still have to suffer from crashes, why? I seriously want to know who playtested this, and there's so many reviews online that say this is a great pc port, but that is not true, the game is not ready, someone needs to fix this now, there's no way they release such a high profile game such as final 7 in such a sorry state, the pc market is extremely profitable and people are mad because of the slop we got, and rightfully so.

We can't help you if you don't post your PC specs.

CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD and OS.

What are your PC specifications?

It's silky smooth for me using the following hardware and settings:

5800X3D
32gb RAM
4070
Gen4 NvME
W10, latest updates

Everything high with DLSS @ 4K, dynamic scaling max 100%, min 66%, solid 60FPS.

There is some texture popping but it's nothing major.

Sounds like you either have an outdated ♥♥♥♥ PC or your PC is bloated with a bunch of bs. Game runs at 100-120 fps and average 1% lows in the 100s. Definitely your rig 🙂

And again someone who has low/mid end hardware or hardcore bottlenecks or very old hardware and think he can put everything to max settings.

Just lower the Graphics if your Hardware is not capable off doing that and the game is looking so good and is smooth and add so much new stuff, the game is a true upgrade from Remake. But of course people like you are thinking DLSS will safe them meanwhile DLSS just show how delusional People are.

It's the game. 10850k and a 3080 installed on samsung 990. Only steam games and cura installed on pc. Even running game at 1080 and medium settings I get stutter moving camera around after a few minutes and get random crashes. Same issue with 1440 or 4k. Pop in is especially bad in outside areas and shadows flickering in places. The lighting is horrendous going from dark to light places and very washed out in places meant to be bright. All of this can be fixed. Spent entire time so far trying all settings to fix issues. If they could at least fix the stutter and framerate issues (1% lows are terrible) I could at least play the game. Not all but most issues are game related not hardware.

I literally just played 11 hours with a 3060 and Windows 10 and have had Zero issues.

Yup, most definitely the game. I just played 11 hours with near minimum hardware and have had ZERO issues but most definitely the game is the issue. :steambored:

Honestly, I have near minimum requirements. I run a 3060. Not making one setting change, this game has ran perfect for 11 hours of game play.

TLDR, Games bad and my PC is perfect so there. pretty much sums up this post. I would jester you, but why would I reward crying?
My issue is that I am not satisfied with playing it at 1080p 60fps.
The game looks like it does on PS5 ( I rebought it on PC due to getting Twin Pack Cheaper on InstantGaming ). Game runs good, but I hope to upgrade GPU so I can have it look good and play good :D

because you play on recomended settings, the people who complain about the game performance are not playing on the recomend settings, they crank up the graphics and cry then.
