Insane stuttering
Does anyone have a fix for the insane micro stuttering this game has? The second i turn my camera my frames drop from 120 down to 60. I can't figure out why this is happening, doesn't matter what kind of graphics setting etc. I use. I also have the latest driver from december installed.

Ryzen 7 7800x3d
RTX 4090
32GB DDR5 ram

Buy a NVMd hard drive.

Use a frame limiter like RivaTuner. Fixed it for me right away.

grow up. i have a 1 tb fast nvme ssd and it stutters for me too. common issue for many of us. even people with top tier cpus
go to nvidia control panel and limit frames to whatever you want, i have no idea why but that should help. something about the frame limit in game is not working as efficiently as it should

There are some minor fixes like setting windows at 60HZ and nvidia control panel to set FPS to 60. But once you hit the open world.... It's just stutter. Try the dlss4 mod.

i set nvid panel to 60 and my rtx 3080 gets locked 60fps on 4k and ultra/max settings

You will probably have to wait for the game ready driver.

switching from vsync to vrr helped alleviate stutter for me but i wasnt getting any insane microstuttering. try turning off all global settings in amd adrenalin, i have it all off like freesync etc
The 1% low is not particularly great either, it is often half the average framerate.

For once i got lucky and everything just works out of the box.

Only changes i made are AA to DLSS with 66-100%. Fps is locked to 60 and i always use a global 60fps lock via nvidiam system tools anyway (+60hz monitor setting). Only run higher framerates for games that really need it like street fighter or sth.

RTX 3060 12g and i5 12600K + windows 10 @1080p high

by the way - a bunch of games are dying with the latest win 11 update (24H2 or whatever it was called) - good chance thats part of the problem. Good lesson in never signing up to be a beta tester for the latest software update (entire win11 is a beta really).

I’m with 4090 and G-Sync and the only solution I’ve found so far is to cap my FPS to 90 in-game. Far from perfect but better. 60 FPS is even better but I won’t do it on 4090. LOL
I’ve tried some changes in NVCP related to latency and frame queuing, no luck.

They have messed up something with frame pacing, VRR and V-Sync for sure.
I found a solution for me! The only thing that worked for me was setting the refresh rate of my monitor back to 60hz and limit the ingame FPS to 60 as well. Now its buttery smooth without any stuttering. Hope this helps anyone else.
