i set nvid panel to 60 and my rtx 3080 gets locked 60fps on 4k and ultra/max settings
specs?
Only changes i made are AA to DLSS with 66-100%. Fps is locked to 60 and i always use a global 60fps lock via nvidiam system tools anyway (+60hz monitor setting). Only run higher framerates for games that really need it like street fighter or sth.
RTX 3060 12g and i5 12600K + windows 10 @1080p high
by the way - a bunch of games are dying with the latest win 11 update (24H2 or whatever it was called) - good chance thats part of the problem. Good lesson in never signing up to be a beta tester for the latest software update (entire win11 is a beta really).
I’m with 4090 and G-Sync and the only solution I’ve found so far is to cap my FPS to 90 in-game. Far from perfect but better. 60 FPS is even better but I won’t do it on 4090. LOL
I’ve tried some changes in NVCP related to latency and frame queuing, no luck.
They have messed up something with frame pacing, VRR and V-Sync for sure.
