The game keeps freezing when entering the menu or when talking to an NPC

It's been frustrating. I've played for around 5 hours, and I only quit the game on my own accord once. The rest of the time, it crashed. The game keeps crashing when I enter the menu. It freezes and shows only a black screen. Sometimes, when I need to perform an action, like using an elevator or talking to an NPC, the dialogue never starts, and the game just stops. I can still move the camera, but I'm trapped in that moment. The only solution is to Alt + F4.

I'm running the game on a 6600 XT and a Ryzen 5600X on medium graphics, with the game installed on my M.2 drive. I've also updated my graphics card drivers to the latest version (25.1.1), but nothing seems to work. The game crashes randomly. Sometimes a few seconds into the game, other times a few minutes. I haven't been able to play for an hour straight without a crash.

- 7900 xtx
- i7 12 gen
- ssd 2tb 980 PRO
- RAM DDR5 32 GB
- AMD Adrenaline Edition 24.7.1 (Downgraded cause read that could help)

Graphic Settings:
- Res: 4k
- Scaling: 100% both
- Background: High

Game Progress:
- Chapter 2: Exploring

Problems I still have after trying everything:
- LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 952] still happening
- After a while, when I open the map it is just blank and, after that, when I open the menu the screen goes black, no error showing up, just keeps being black

PD:. The game is beautiful but these errors are making a really bad experience out of it

Since yesterday, impossible to play more than 5min for same reason than here.
I've tried everything. Really everything we can found on the web with no results, and the solution is so simple...

Problem resolved here, turning the FPS in game at 30...
Playing since one hour now and no crashes.

All the other graphic settings have no impact, . Like resolution, and all graphic setings
Actually in 4k and all at maximum with DLSS 30% min and 100% max with my RTX 2080 Ti watercoolded.

I've turned of steam cloud saving too, but I don't know if any impact. The game don't freezes or crashing now, I do not touch anything now XD. But it's ugly to play at 30 fps. waiting for a patch or a driver update...

I played for six hours today without issue after spending two days battling this softlocking.

I went into the Nvidia app > Graphics > Global Settings > Shader Cache Size and set it to 1 GB. The game seems to like this. Hopefully it works for some of you.

Thought this was the fix for me too, but its not. Went about 30 minutes then black screen menu bug.
