nVidia Possible Stuttering Solution
My game was stuttering randomly like crazy while exploring and also in cutscenes.

If you have a high refresh monitor try this:
  • Open the nvidia control panel manage 3D setting>Global Setting
  • Turn Vertical sync On
  • If your monitor supports it turn on G-Sync
Set Low Latency Mode to Ultra
Go to the Program Setting tab and add the game .exe if it's not on the list
Make sure all setting are set to Use Global Setting
I tried the game again after this and it runs like butter, so one of those setting did the trick.

You tried these steps without low latency mode? because the other steps sound reasonable but low latency mode can cause stuttering in a lot of games
Just tried it without low latency mode (disable)
I'm still having some stuttering but less tho
Doesnt solve the issue but feels better

specs
i9-11900K
rtx 3080oc
32ram

Are you sure you installed the game on a SSD? What kind of SSD do you have installed?

I've done this in almost every game, and it has worked wonders for me:

Turn off V-Sync in-game and enable VRR. Then, open the Nvidia Control Panel, enable V-Sync and G-Sync, and set the maximum frame rate 4-5 FPS below your monitor's refresh rate. This ensures G-Sync works properly and provides smooth performance.

The nvidia control panel says in the description: select Ultra to minimize VSYNC latency when both VSYNC and G-SYNC are enabled

Nope. I’ve had these settings as global in NVCP for years and it stutters with them on 4090 4k DLAA at G-Sync display. The only way I found to reduce the stutters is to cap FPS to 90 in-game.

I’ve tried changing latency to On from Ultra (my default), no difference.
BTW everyone with G-Sync should know they need VSync On in NVCP, Off in game.

Yes i already tried this yesterday myself, and for me it will fix ALL STUTTER related issues.!!!

Game runs buttery smooth now.....

But it does not solve the Black SCreen issue or failure of loading textures !!!

But at least its smooth after using COnifg panel !

Now it crashes SMOOTHLY YEAHHHH !!

You also need to enable vsync i enabled triple buffering and capped framerates to exactly my monitors refresh.... !!

SO no you never wnat to cap the farmerates under your monitors refresh thats nosnensical information !!! You might even soooner set it 1 frame over your monitors refresh then put it 4 or 5 under your refresh that simply makes no sense !!!
******* Jan 24 @ 12:16pm
For example if you have a 60 fps screen capping frames to 55 or 56 is ridiculous information you simply cap it on 60 froegroudn and background task even 60 so it deosnt change when you alt tab !!!!....

you could put it on 61 or 62 even ,,, but you never go under your refresh rate, people that say that ,,, copied that strange behaviour from other players in deiffereent games,, they simply are clueless !

I just have the game set to VRR instead of vsync and I use RTSS to force reflex and that seems to have helped some with microstutters. Seems pretty smooth 99%.

So thi s information is nonsense if you have a 60 or 120 hx screen and you cap your frames at 55, 54 or 116-115 you wil NEVER have asmooth experience ! But stutter !

You always cap teh frames at the most specific way possible closest to monitor refresh, or slightly over !

Yes that might also help ,, indeed it comes down to teh same as what Nvidia control panel is doing basically !

On top of it this game has no option to disable vsync, just a choice for VRR or VSync,,, Th COntrol panel simply overrides the ingame VSync so no matter if you put it on or off its an OVERRIDE !

Obviously you’ve never had a G-Sync display and have no idea how they are configured.
