FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH
Works Great on a GTX 1650, with a caveat
you first gonna need this then the game works flawlessly, pretty consistent fps, i have no idea why they put a limitation like that but eh.

keep in mind that this is only for the 16 series, as of now i have no idea if they are working on possible builds for other series

Are you using an upscaler or is it native? If so, what upscaler are you using?
in the game you can choose between native or upscaled, i put it on native because i cant stand the jagged view otherwise, my screen is skinda small, upscaling does help with fps tho, some areas where the fps drops to 40, i could reach 55 if i put the upscaler to 60 or 80%, keep in mind that as of now, there is no FSR
Lossless Scaling can force FSR on it, I think
Just found the fix and re-bought the game. Just why squeenix?

You're blaming the wrong company.

This is not a Square Enix issue. This is a decision by Nvidia because of the DirectX 12 Ultimate (lack of) support on the GTX 16 series despite architecture being based off Turing and missing some hardware elements. Due to how Nvidia designed it this does not support DirectX 12 and the file you are sharing is a DirectX 12 packaged file.

Square Enix cannot be expected to realistically realize this oddity of some obscure card having some partial support for a feature that Nvidia deemed it doesn't qualify for.

It actually isn't something you can blame Nvidia for, either, as DirectX 12.2 support requires that the GPU either has full hardware feature support or it doesn't qualify which is the situation here.

does it work on windows 10?
Yeah it worked for me on windows 10. 1650 super. Didnt get the shader issue either that ive seen people mention. But i am not getting the graphics quality and fps that im seeing people have in youtube videos. Using the same settings. Its getting frustrating. Its still very playable but my character models look so much worse than im seeing from others

How does upscaling work? Do i have to set my resolution lower then use the upscaling settings to scale it back to native? im so confused with this stuff. I tried the dlss enabler mod and im not sure it helped.
