No dialogue in cutscenes ?

Yesterday it was fine, since this morning, I am having issues with the dialogue in cutscenes where I cannot here any dialogues.
I am using stereo speakers. It's like it is trying to play on a center channel that does exist. Outside of cutscenes, dialogues are fine though.
Anyone else has that issue ?

I have a related similar issue. 5.1 surround sound where all the dialogue sounds distorted if I run the speakers in surround mode, and audio is mostly perfect except the missing voices in cutscenes when I force the speakers into stereo mode

I have the same problem, had it for the old game too. If i use my hyperx iii cloud headphones i get no speech, I have to have it blasting on my outward speakers. this is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ how a problem from Remake has made it over to this game too. Like..what???

i found a fix for myself. going into Windows Settings > System > Sound then select the sound device and go into the properties. Set "Audio enhancements" to Off. And you can test with the "Story So Far" cutscene in the title screen
