(Low Level) Fatal Error solution?
Be aware, there are different "Fatal Error" errors:
"Fatal Error" with a small (1/10th of the screen) windows window with no text in it.
"Low Level Fatal Error"
"Fatal Error" with some error text.

I have an nvidia RTX 4070
I'm not sure, but i think i fixed the "Fatal Error" (I haven't tested thoroughly).
The game didn't crash anymore in the same random encounter battle when first exiting Kalm. After half an hour of messing around in the area around Kalm still no crashing.

My troubleshooting steps:
1. Updated NVIDIA Drivers (No effect directly, but might have fixed it when shaders were regenerating later on)
2. Disabled Steam Overlay (No effect)
3. Closed Discord (No effect. Had it open later without issues.)
4. In the game's exe's properties > compatibility > Check the "Run as Administrator"
(Caused a "start via Steam client" error which can be fixed by unchecking again, and restarting steam.)
5. Restarted Steam
6. Validated Game Files
7. Made More Space on the Drive (i had only 21GB available)
8. When i started the game again it started to regenerate the shaders. Perhaps this was due to the NVIDIA Driver update.

My guess is that it's steps 1, 5, 6, or 7 that did the trick.
Perhaps I did not have enough space on my F:/ drive for it to generate the shaders fully, or for other temp files of the game.

So, I find a way to play the game. I linked the notebook to an external display, I run Steam as administrator and now I can play the game. I don't understand how it is possible, but that is. I don‘t like this kind of solution but it is better than nothing.. I believe there is some conflict between the internal graphic card and the Nvidia gpu.

I forgot to list that actually, i did set my default GPU to my only GPU, in the nvidia settings. I have only 1 GPU since it's a desktop pc, so i don't think it matters, but ya.

Hope it stays working for both of us :D

I resolved mine by setting the refresh rate to 60fps, sucks but that's what worked until Squareenix decides to patch it up
