it works really well, even the GUI and the map is working (unlike in FF7 remake).
Edit: Map doesnt work so flawless :-/

In cutscenes the video is abit cropped (top and bottom) to stretch it to ultra wide screen, but you wont notice it most of the time.

You need to change the resolution in the settings menu.

Good to hear that. As the project is in its early stages, the author will improve it a lot over the days.

Im doing that. is there something else i need to do other than put the files in the steam folder for ff? Not modded before.

As far as I know, you don't need to do anything else. You download the file, put it on the game's main page on Steam, open the game and change the resolution in the settings. Let me make a test here.

Edit: All working fine.

My settings are like this>

Display Mode> Fullscreen Borderless
Resolution> 1920x1080
VSync ON
Graphics Quality> All HIGH
Maximum Resolution Scaling> 100%
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Minimum> 50%

Literally extracted the folder to the steamapps/common/FFRebirth folder, when i go on game window mode makes it massive as it did originally then i go onto fullscreen and still got to boarders even when changing res. I dont know what else to do.

Mine are the same except in 4k

Except no Vsync and min is 100

Ive done both and its not working for some reason. My windows defender going nuts stating theres a trojun attatched lol. But got files in there and nothing changing in game. Stays same no idea why.

This is very strange. My Windows Defender is active and it did not detect any viruses in the file. Maybe your WD is blocking the file and preventing it from working properly? If that is the case, try creating an exception for the file. If that does not work, then I do not know how to try to help you anymore.

Nice one, will take a look after work. I'm very happy with the port but lack of UW support is my only gripe.

Yes. It's a shame for a company like Square to not put UW support in their games.
