What the heck is going on with the combat camera?
It's damn near unplayable for me in this state.
I don't know if some options are misleading, but i pretty much disabled every "refocus" option for the camera in and out of combat, yet every time i attack, it seems like the camera is repositioning itself, making combat really bad, cause i hardly see anything, with the camera being jerked left and right.
Is there an issue with the settings? Can i get rid of this?
It definitely wasn't an issue in FF 7 Remake.

Same issue here, lmk if you get a fix
turn off "auto camera on target" - it was wierd for me too

is it your target setting? there is a setting that by default makes switch target the right stick, but will make the camera focus the enemy. Its near the bottom of camera options. You can change it to make it not move camera or move only when you aren't controlling the camera, and it swaps the change target to left and right on dpad

I probably should ahve mentioned it: I'm playing with mouse and keyboard, not a controller.
And as i'm nowhere near the keys to switch targets, that doesn't seem to be the issue.
Thanks for the suggestion though, appreciate it.

Moving the mouse changes targets on mouse and keyboard.

Yea it has been a major problem for me too, not sure how to fix it, at this point i've just stopped moving my mouse when i don't need to but when fights get hectic it still becomes an issue, hopefully a fix comes out soon

This is a good candidate for the worst camera ever honestly, only in combat but it's jumping all over the place can't have a clue what my enemy is doing, i don't wanna overlevel everything and done, wanna play and block ffs.
.. bit lacking behind .. that's whats up with the camcorder .. 🤭

Fix:

Cam speed → Max
Cam FOV → 3 for battles

On controller its working actually very decent.. not perfect .. but playable

Yea this is the same problem with part 1. clunky camera movements. The targetting systems are very janky as well especially with hectic fights with multiple targets.
did you try changing the change target method?
its really crazy when doing desert rush
Crow Servo Jan 28 @ 10:35pm
change the lock-on method to the top option so camera follows lock on target. While locked on, camera doesnt jump around. The only work around Ive found.

Some characters have this problem more than others. My camera always looks up, when i use the shoot attack with Yuffi. The only way to prevent this, is to "lock on" onto the target. I hate this feature. Its a gampad peasant thing. It removes the one thing, that makes mouse so good.

Its a bug that Square has to fix. It seems to only happen using Keyboard and Mouse
