Visual shadow bug

Upon entering the first open area of the game, Nibelheim, I start experiencing issues. It seems like the shadows stretch and appear all over the screen, going crazy and making it impossible to enjoy the game.

Does anyone else experience this? Does anyone know how to fix it?

I’ve tried changing the various graphics settings, but even though the game starts off fine, within about a minute at most, the shadows start looking messed up again.

I have this exact same issue! It kicks in bad looking in most directions obstructing the entire view. I've got a decent machine and have dropped from high to low settings and still nothing.

Nope. My game looks and runs great. Like you I will also share no details of my hardware or settings.
