Audio being weird? voice so much quieter than background audio? why?
is it me or is the game weirdly mixed in terms of the background audio being much louder than the voice so the voice gets muddied in cutscenes or dialogue?

Yeah I noticed the same thing. I'm currently using dolby atmos, maybe that's causing an issue? It never has for anything else though.

I fixed it by making voice louder than everything else in the audio menu.

Try going into windows sound settings and the properties for your audio device and turning Audio Enhancements off
