DX12 Error: "DX12 is not supported on your system" with RTX 3060 Ti
I'm encountering an issue when trying to launch a game.
The error message reads:
"DX12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument."

Here are my system details:
GPU: RTX 3060 Ti
OS: Windows10 (fully updated)
DirectX Version: 12 (confirmed via dxdiag)
GPU Drivers: Updated to the latest version

If anyone has encountered a similar problem or has suggestions, I would greatly appreciate your input.

You need Windows 11 for full dx12 support.

Only Windows 11 has DX12 Ultimate. Time to finally update.

I am having this same problem and running windows 11 and have DirectX 12. How do I try running the game without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line arguments?

This game does not need Windows 11.

You dont have to spam every thread you know. The least you should do is post your specs, otherwise nobody will be able to help you.

I am having the same issue. Windows 11, 5700xt and a R5 3600x. I tried both commands and nothing.

Press Windows + R, then enter "dxdiag" into the prompt without quotes and press return to see what version of DirectX you have installed.

On the second tab you can see if DirectX 12 Ultimate is installed. If not, then something is wrong with your system.

Feature Levels: 12_2 is required in dxdiag

Your GPU does not support DirectX 12 feature level 12_2 and is why the minimum requirements are higher than what you're running: https://ffvii.square-enix-games.com/en-us/games/rebirth?question=pc-requirements

Processor AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon Graphics 16 CPUs 1.80 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Edition Windows 11 Home
Per the Dxdiag I have DirectX 12

Is there anything else I need to post?

Are you trying to running with an integrated graphics?
I'm so sorry but this game requires a DX12 Ultimate dedicated graphic card
