I don't get how the game has a 'Very Positive' rating when it's actually in terrible shape, with crazy stuttering that makes it unplayable. The only way to get a fix fast is by leaving a negative review and telling people not to buy it right now. It's the only way we can do anything.

EDIT: I’ve fixed the issue, and maybe this could help anyone struggling to get a smooth and satisfying experience. I’m playing in 4K with DLSS on, everything maxed out, with a max resolution set to 100% and the minimum at 66%. I get around 80 to 120 fps. By just lowering the “Background Precision” option to Medium, the stuttering issue was solved. At least in my case. Now it’s smooth sailing, but unfortunately, here in Italy it’s 3:40 AM, so I’ll enjoy it tomorrow! Big thanks to everyone who helped, and sorry for my frantic initial post, but after 9 hours of downloading and coming from a near-perfect Intergrade experience, I was pretty disappointed.

I already refunded it. they did not fix remake 1 so i dont think they will bother with rebirth

Your experience is not the experience of everybody. Many are saying its running just fine. Just because your having an issue..Many are not.

I'm getting stuttering too, even on all low settings, 1600x900 30fps with 50% resolution still isn't smooth. I'll wait until I get a good enough machine to play this again.

Not everyone has the same experience as you. It's unfortunate but because of the variable hardware and systems most of the time people will get different results.

Someone on a high end pc could be having a bad time with bugs while someone who's on a mid pc isn't.

game runs fine, what are you about ? if it stutters then it is on your end, maybe lower settings maybe you try to play the game in settings that was not recomended for your system.

a few dozen complaints is not a very high % of the 100k or so of people who have purchased the game. Very small infact.

I mostly only have a bit of stuttering during cutscenes. During gameplay I rarely have any stuttering. FF7 Remake had way more stuttering for me during gameplay and that game was still playable and even more important enjoyable. It's easily worth the preorder price tag of € 49.

Just because the game is playable doesn't mean it runs smoothly, even on high-end systems. Go check the forum and see how many people are dealing with stuttering. There are people leaving positive reviews after just an hour of play. What are you even talking about? The game has micro-stutter, and for someone like me with a rig worth thousands, it's super frustrating.

pc gaming is partially hardware based, 2 similar speced but different competing brands can have functionally different issues, a similar thing happened for elden ring upon release as well. (let alone all the various mixes causing issues as well)

your issues are entirely valid, but its just a fact that not everyone will have them, and those who don't will just judge the game based upon if they're enjoying it, you know?

Okay? Good thing I didn't say it's running good for everyone. Those who positively reviewed are likely running just fine. I'm not the one asking if someone is blind for having a variable experience.
