FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH

FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH

Statistiche:
So AMD users cant play the game?
It seems alot of people are getting constant crashes on AMD Radeon Cards. I have a 7600 and I cant go 5 minutes into the first town without it freezing and crashing.

I can't even load the game. I get an error that says "DX12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d312 command line argument". I have an AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon Graphics, it says it is using DirectX 12. I updated the driver and still it won't work. FF7 Remake worked great, no issues at all. I've had this laptop for only about a month.

pretty sure your integrated GPU doesn't support dx12 ultimate just dx12, sorry.
7900XT here and the game seizes up Windows for a good minute and then crashes. Happens during cutscenes. Game runs fine otherwise... :angry_creep: Can't even get a save in

This game utilizes DX12 Ultimate, the latest version of DirectX 12, not the old one.
RX 6600 I've been playing for 2 hours and 20 min and no crashes so far

i'm on a rx7800xt as well and i noticed some weird stuttering capping the game at 60fps (i'm also capturing so i want the extra headroom)... does that happen with you as well? Just to be clear, i am not noticing it while i play, but i can see it in the capture (and yeah, it's set properly so it's not OBS)

look in windows Display settings and set the Hz of your monitor up to what your monitor supports but do not use 59 Hz mode. maybe this can be the cause of you stuttering.
played for 5 hours on my 6800XT and had no problems

What error message you have ? copy the error code and type it in to Google, maybe you get some results.
I have a rtx 3080 and have the same issue
7900xt, running smooth on 24.12.1.
i had to dial down the dynamix res scaling from 100% to 66% but after that it's been home free, 8 hours and counting same session. no leaks, no crashes, just game.

Im an AMD user and im at the end of chapter 1 by now. Get your things right.
I have a ryzen 3900 with a 3090 works amazing
Running a 6600XT and a 5700X3D at 1080p high, haven't had any issues in the two hours I've played so far besides stuttering in the opening scenes that went away the further I got.
Sucks to hear that people are having problems though.

Note that I didn't upgrade to the optional driver that released today, still on 24.12.1.
