So AMD users cant play the game?
It seems alot of people are getting constant crashes on AMD Radeon Cards. I have a 7600 and I cant go 5 minutes into the first town without it freezing and crashing.

AMD updated their drivers for support of this game have you tried that yet?

basically, yeah. i have a 7800 XT and everything was fine in the first town until i got on the trail to the reactor. now i can't play for more than a minute without it crashing. i even installed the new amd driver for it, but it feels like it's probably an issue on square's end

the drivers dont fix the issue. in the "Known Issues" section of the driver, it says "Intermittent system or application crash may be observed while playing FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH for long periods of time" so they didn't intend to fix that specific issue with the driver update

can play the game very well on maxed out settings without stuttering and Crashes or FPS drops in 1440p. played for 6.5 hours in a row and no problems.
i'm on a rx7800xt as well and i noticed some weird stuttering capping the game at 60fps (i'm also capturing so i want the extra headroom)... does that happen with you as well? Just to be clear, i am not noticing it while i play, but i can see it in the capture (and yeah, it's set properly so it's not OBS)

the 60 fps cap is really weird right now. probably better to set it to 90 and then limit the fps to 60 with RTSS

Install the drivers without the Adrenaline software.
I installed the 25.1.1 and still crash with my 7900 XTX, I seem to get about 5 mins in town before I crash.

Alas I tried that, still crashing in the first town T-T

Weird enough I crashed right when you start to go to the reactor, after that i haven't crashed again in like 8 hours straight. 5800X/6650XT still on 24.12.1

It does work. It's just that lot of AMD graphics card owners outside of 7900XTX seem to be having noticeable issues right now...

Hmm, I hardly think this problem is universal enough to state it's unplayable. On 7900XTX on Linux I am getting a stable 4K/60Hz with no crashes. Trying to move up to 90Hz introduces stutter though, heats my GPU up like the Sun :D Seems great for winter, as long as nothing melts!
