"FF7 Rebirth sold poorly on PC release" news incoming in the next months
I wonder why would that be...? Maybe because they think people will upgrade their graphics cards to play a game?

if people are running 10 year old gpus they probably couldn't afford the game anyway so it works out

Before the refund wave of 20+% of their PC customers maybe.

sooner or later everyone has to upgrade their GPU if they want to keep playing new games, trying to play the newest games with ancient hardware is like trying to play a PS5 game on a PS1

Unless the game runs on a PS1 but your PC - even if it is stronger than the PS1 - has to be upgraded.

If the steam deck is able to run it then there is no reason a 1660 super shouldn't be able to run it. Will it look amazing no, but it should run.

I playing now and am encountering 0 issues. This is heaven compared to Remake port. This is indeed a great port as far I'm experiencing. If I encounter any problem I'll report

They could have increased shadow resolution a bit btw... Nothing that UE variables won't fix later.

That's pre-sales not including launch sales and refunds.

I'm thinking the refund rate is going to be near record breaking. Not only due to people who can't launch the game but even ones who can are reporting the graphics look worse than on PlayStation.

this runs on the steam deck
It's mad that they took this long to port it to PC and still couldn't manage to get it to run on a 1080Ti, just lazy devs at their core.

Bro it runs like ps1 graphics on steamdeck what are u talking bout
I have a cpu and gfx card within the specs and the game still runs like garbage, I think it needs a lot of tuning to get this to a good place. People who are on the late 30 and the 40 series + seem to be fine. Im sitting on my 2070 super on the lowest possible settings and framerate and still getting slowdown, perhaps the minimum specs simply are not high enough?

hum... not really true... At least at this point of the game. Max settings is really way beyond PS5 as far I'm able to compare. I did buy a PS5 just for this game and already finished it.
