Has anyone had success getting the bonuses?
On the main menu there is a bonuses button. It says it uses savedata from the previous game and dlc but It does not find it.

worked for me, is your data from the epic games version, perhaps?
Found the answer Before you can claim your save data bonuses in-game, you must play through to FFVII Rebirth Chapter 2 - A New Journey Begins. Once you've reached the Grasslands, open the menu and select System to open the options. Select DLC/Bonuses and you'll see the list of bonuses you claimed from your save data. Select them, and they'll be sent to your inventory for use.
had no trouble here

I just started the game and was on the main menu. It's doesn't tell you when you receive them it just says no data found. I will play through chapter one and see if it resolves.

once your out of the flashback officially you get them
Maybe check you have the FF7 save game files in your documents. Mine are still there from when I played Remake and it had no trouble finding them. Should be in Documents / My Games / FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE / Steam / (A Folder With Numbers)

I do see them in my documents. For some reason the game does not. I will try again later after I reach a save point.

I'm on linux and the game isn't seeing them. I don't know if this is a linux specific problem, but I tracked down the location of the save files, and they are where they are supposed to be.

I am not using linux but thank you for posting so others can see this info.
yeah. got all except ramuh because i never finished the yuffie stuffie.

edit: it's worth noting that the main menu dialog isn't altogether clear. once you clear chapter 1 and have control of your party for the game, however, there's an in-game bonuses menu that is unmistakably clear and makes you claim each individual item.
