pirating is for losers. they're gonna be stuck with no dlc and no updates or patches

also, most of them are 14 and can't buy games anyway
I paid for the game but I cannot even access the DLC because SE blocked it from family sharing people who got the game for free dont have that problem lol
No you didn't, If you paid for the game, you'd have a mouse icon next to your name. And you do not.

How they can take from developers when developers have base monthly salary, did you ever worked anywhere in your life ?It's like mommy buys you game and you talking like you know something..On top of that Square Enix left PS exclusivity because the sales are low ,so how your logic works then,if it was great they wouldn't leave ,and then you have games like Elden ring,BG3, Cyberpunk, Witcher 3 which don't have any protection and outsold everyone by a mile.. Quality sales games not denuvo
Oh you are CLUELESS about how game development ACTUALLY works, huh. Wow.
That's not how it works at all. Actual developers are paid *♥♥♥♥ all*, especially during excessive crunch periods. You've not read a single game developer article.

Ofc are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ numbers pulled from his ass,the game is 150gb,would literally take forever to download ,170k hahah just rofl ..It's takes a long time even on steam which has max speed not to mention pirate sites ,imagine 170k sharing download speed from few sites would literally takes weeks and he posted like 3 hours after game lauch, the guy lives is in his fairy tale world
not only that but out of those 170k probably at least 10 percent could play the game with the requirements needing an RTX card or DX12.2 card most ppl don't read probably some are already complaining that they cant run the game.

How so? Ever heard of a torrent? All it takes it someone buying the game on Steam to get the files (then refund the game if they want), someone removing / bypassing the "tissue paper" (Steamworks) and it can spread like wildfire.
terraff6 Jan 23 @ 10:34pm
dude whats you source for your numbers? seems like you are using inaccurate numbers as torrent details are usually skewed and counted wrong. something tells me you pulled these numbers out of your ass
steam sale already reach maximum paying customer potential even without denuvo virus, so no loss there! look at FF XV XVI numbers its the same... lol better for us paying customer not having to deal with more micro stutter crap! f u denuvuk.... (remove it from XVI so the game run smoother and XV so i can add to my steam library)

latest torrent scene release number only 800+ seeds 4000+ leech (not sure where you get 173k download from)

Why are you comparing active players in a snapshot of time verses total amount of torrent downloads?

Not everybody who bought the game will play it at any specific point in time, and not everybody who downloads it via torrent will play it. (Thats not counting people who do buy the game who did download the torrent.)

This just doesn't mean anything. It's like comparing the number of people who make hamburgers at home vs people who go to McDonalds for lunch. People who make hamburgers at home can still goto McDonalds for lunch, and not everybody who eats at McDonalds eats there at lunch.

Why do people keep wanting denuvo it only hurts consumer more than it does the pirate
If the company wants to keep denuvo for a couple months I wouldnt have a problem with it but most of the times it's going to be their for years hurting the game perfromance

They weren’t going to buy it anyway. I bought Remake 2 or 3 times and Rebirth twice anyway.

No, thanks to Square enix for the bad publicity and also for blocking their game. I don't see a problem if people download the game from any resources if the developer himself doesn't want to sell it in different countries. :steamfacepalm:

You can't control other people, just do what is within your power. I want to support the game so I bought it, that's all any of us can do.

To the game companies, give legit buyers more value and they will buy. I buy a game on steam for the mere fact that it downloads fast and keeping the game updated is painless. That is value.

Have you tried updating a pirated game? bruh.....it is PAIN....

Very true. Unfortunately, most game studios don't care about giving customers more value, control or anything that is seen as being pro-consumer. We're basically just husks that they want to bleed as much money from as possible.

I mean, you could say that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth not having Denuvo was a win, but then at the same time Square Enix also online DRM's the Deluxe Edition Artbook and Mini-Soundtrack where you can only view and listen using some Digital Content Viewer that you need to log into using your Steam credentials.

Why not be pro-consumer and just give those people the files so they can listen to it on their own devices and how they want?

They deserve it. Always crying about "playstation sales not meeting expectations" (we're talking about millions of copies sold btw), while every FF game flopped on PC and other platforms. :steambored:
