This is why DENUVO is GOOD for gamers.

Stop. Denuvo is not good for gamers, but it also isn't the boogieman the anti-Denuvo crowd makes it out to be.

No one, and I mean no one, should have problems with Square Enix using Denuvo and then removing it 6-12 months later after launch.

That protects the most critical sales windows, the launch and the first couple major sales. Then when they remove Denuvo, and the game becomes a free-for-all people can buy it or do whatever.

pirating is for losers. they're gonna be stuck with no dlc and no updates or patches

also, most of them are 14 and can't buy games anyway
They will get all DLCs and patches. They just gotta download a newer torrent.

These people is why Denuvo exists. They destroy our hobby.

About pirating games. Many have only one reason why they do it: because they can.

Their argument is, they can pirate a game and use the saved money for stuff they can't pirate or steal so easily without risking to get in trouble.

Some say, they use the pirated version as a demo. Yeah, a great excuse to sugarcoat it for yourself. And how many from them really drop that demo and buy they game when they like it? I bet many people are just looking for reasons to talk the game down so they don't have to buy it, yet they play the "demo" all the way to the end.

The most may not have the money for that game, but it is not the only "players" who do this.

The majority of people who pirate games simply don't have any guilt about it, because they've simply prepared an excuse for themselves.

How do you know?
Breaking: People who don't normally buy video games also didn't buy this video game

Coming up next: The sky is blue, and "The sun. Will it rise tomorrow"

Some people have no pride or honest morals on how they live.

Who cares? lmfao.

I bought many games because I could pirate them to properly test them (Nine Sols was the last one) - I didn't buy games because they have Denuvo. FF XVI was the latest one I didn't buy for this reason. Go figure. Oh, and I bought FF7 Rebirth already, even though it can be torrented. Calculate this.

That's why you pc nerds always get boned. I bought it.
Of course it will have ~20k players, game is 150 gigs and no pre-load. Also, it's the internet, people will always pirate stuff, no one will ever be able to do something about they just can buy some time. People who pirated the game, maybe can't afford it now or never had the interest to buy it at all

Time to bring back the good old physical 200 page manuals with the hard “enter word X from line Y on page Z” checks.;)
