they dont get the updates if they delete it they need to redownload the entire thing etc its about the sale they will make from someone who will now just buy it when they do have money. the game is also on more people radar which is the important part,
games with denuvo are never on peoples radar and get lost in a sea of other games, pirate sites have lists of thousands of games that you can look through and find new games if a game has denuvo and people skip over it they aint coming back to it later to try it you have lost that person as a sale
if 20% pirate a game only 5% is will never buy it the ramaining 15% which all the companies abandon is the actual sales piracy would make them, so company make 80% sales then loose like 15% sales as well as the 5% sales they were never going to get all cause they decided they wanted that early money from the 5% that were never gonna give them that money anyways, by going denuvo you get 80% of the sales by not you get 95% sales thats the part all the companies miss,
i always equate it with a gold and diamond mine the gold mine is open now but only has 1billion worth the diamond mine opens in 5 years but has 6billion worth, companies will always choose the gold mine cause its open now
At least this way, i dont spend 70$/Euros besides risking my security
Not necessarily. I think it really depends on the game and it's popularity.
I do a mixture of both (you can see I bought Rebirth) but I pirated the Made in Abyss game and along with the base game the latest update was also uploaded by someone.
Checking the site I go to for Rebirth here, I can confirm that all of the extra content you get in the Deluxe version (which is handled as DLC) is included in the versions being shared.
I get wanting to defend the corpos but come on lets not resort to lying.
And look how easy to install:
"* Burn or mount
* Install
* Play the game"
lol.
Tell me one thing....if modders and pirates managed to crack the game and mod the UW monitor support so fast....how come Square Enix engineers / devs HAVE SUCH A HARD TIME ???
Simple, the answer is LAZY!
Agreed, random number thrown, no sources provided, profile is Steam level 0 and private. No basis to the entire topic.
