I see this too, it seems to be dependent on distance. DLSS in general changes how the trees look quite a bit. I still see ghosting when dragging the camera in such a way as to have Cloud drag across in front of water and trees. This ghosting is also WAY worse when not using DLSS and is only noticeable if you are looking for it when using any version of DLSS.
The tree shimmer is there regardless but it is definitely more pronounced with the new transformer model here as things in motion on screen are less blurred. It's a trade-off for sure but I think I still prefer the new model.
Ain't seen a single tree shimmer on normal DLSS =o.
It's only kinda there but it's being blurred out.
I’ve never messed with Nvidia Insoector for DLSS, used to back in the day for SLI profiles. Usually I just manually swap DLSS files, but I couldn’t actually find that file and that program makes it super quick and easy.
For temporal reconstruction stability vs clarity is always a balance, this new model seems to heavily favor clarity. I personally like it a lot, to me this is VERY CLOSE to perfect image quality, like a real-life photo with "infinite resolution". But maybe they can develop other transformer presets in the future to favor stability more.
I can't tell whats the differences, or maybe I did it wrongly for nvinespector
