FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH

DX12 is not supported. Try running without the -dx12 or d3d12 command line argument.
So, every time i try to launch the game, I get this error message. I've searched all over the internet and did all the suggested fixes. All drivers are updated.

Here's the specs I'm running off of, someone/anyone PLEASE HELP! T_T

Chip type: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 Super
DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC
Processor: Intel Core I5-10600KF
Operating system: W10

I suppose it could be the processor, but I'm unsure as it was able to run Remake/Intermission just fine. so any help/direction is appreciated!

Unfortunately the game is only for cards that has 12_2 DirectX 12 Ultimate support.

Which I find weird since theres no Raytracing at all and your card is 100% capable of utilizing the one feature Rebirth has which is Mesh Shaders and share the same architecture as the RTX 2000 Series. But Yes cards that isn't RTX or RX 6600 above (Intel's A580) will not be able to run so GTX is dead with this game.

Pray for modders to find a miracle in a few days but i'd keep my hopes low :(

No se que hacer. I don't know what to do. Can someone help me?

MUCHAS GRACIAS
lo que puedes hacer es pedir reembolso o comprar una tarjeta RTX ya que las gtx de la serie 16 no es compatible con el juego, o bien esperar a ver si algun mod puede hacer correr el juego en estas tarjetas

Well you had five years to upgrade your old card bud. Minimum requirements have been known for a while also.

Get the same message :(
Pourquoi ? FF16 est plus gourmand, et aucun problème... Et là, ça ne fonctionne pas. C'est intolérable.

Are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ serious? It's the same tech as FF7 Remake. I just played FF7 Remake Intergrade which is supposed to have the same requirements. And now I can't play the game. Lol. Refund. Not gonna buy a new graphics card just for that crap. I can still easily play almost all games on very high to ultra settings with my 1070. This is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I'm running a 1070 as well and have never had a problem running new releases on high to ultra graphics so we're in the same boat. This game runs on steam deck so clearly there is a version available that will run on just about anyone's PC even potato PCs that would barely get 30 fps on the lowest settings,

Given the fact the game won't even launch and while there is a version that supports steam deck suggests this is an attempt to sell new graphics cards and steam decks to people who want to play day one. After the sales numbers come in there will likely be a patch. Unless of course the ruse works and graphics cards sales sky rocket, in which case this tactic will likely become more common place in the future.

That's a really scary thought actually. Maybe just maybe the huge amount of money they are getting gouged is enough of beating stick to force people to critically think before they buy and encourage this kind of thing.

The Steam Deck has a DX12.2-capable GPU but it has to run at 720p and still only scrapes by with about 30 FPS.
