SE is a major studio. They have no excuse. Psychonauts 1 has proper 16:10 support and it came out 18 years ago.
This is such a minor thing that if they overlooked this then the port is going to be known to be bad without even going into the game itself.
Entirely wrong.
It's the gaming laptop standard whether desktop users like it or not.
And my laptop probably runs circles around your desktop.
13900HX, 4090m, 64GB DDR5 5600MHz, and 6TB of storage from a 2TB and 4TB Samsung 990 Pro in both the C: and D: drives respectively.
The display on this laptop is a 2560x1600 16:10 1ms G-Sync 240Hz panel.
Lack of 16:10 is a dealbreaker. Fix the game. Add in 16:10. This is not hard. 20 year old games manage it. SE is a major studio and fixing the lack of 16:10 support is the games most immediate issue it needs to solve right now.
Yeah, your screens are 16:10 but devs figured out long ago trying to squeeze out that much more power out of something for what equates to practically nothing in terms of graphical fidelity is an actual waste of time.
This too.
Again, no, it isn't, There is no gimmick. It's the default for high-end gaming laptops. Even 2025 models with 9955HX 3D's and 5090's will use 16:10 resolutions.
Companies need to get with the times and support 16:10. It's not optional.
Hasn't been updated for Rebirth and doesn't work. It only functions for Remake. And SE shouldn't be relying on 3rd parties to fix this for them. This is something they need to fix for themselves.
They need to add native 16:10.
