Post your full PC specs.

Try reducing the max resolution from 100% to 66% that has worked for me, lots of AMD 7000/6000 people having same issue

My Specs e Game run 70 FPS:

16gb Ram
Ryzen 5 3600
AMD RX 7600

The game runs perfectly, but it only crashes at a certain point, either at the beginning when you do the first battle, or after the first battle when we go to the main team after the cut scene. I've tested all the resolutions, all the settings, I've made settings in Windows and it's still the same thing.
yup, the same here, same card. it crashes on the truck cutscene, which is weird considering the game runs fine before that and stays at 60fps capped without even using dynamic resolution. using it makes no difference, aside from the game getting really ugly

the error mentioned something about dx12, which means it's what's crashing, so I have to ask, you guys using W10 or 11? this might be relevant

i got a feeling that we might have to wait till AMD releases a new driver

Windows 11 PRO. Yes, the game runs smoothly, but it simply crashes and closes.

It might be a bug. The only reccomendation I have is to turn all settings to low and see if that helps you get past that point. Also, be aware that the game was just patched.
yeah I am also getting what i think is a dx 12 hang somewhat regularly (if I'm reading the error code right). I have a Ryzen 7 3700 and a Radeon RX 7800 XT. I think its going to take a driver update from AMD. On Windows 11.

Guys, maybe a placebo but i think underclocking GPU might have helped me a little to get through Mom cutscene(was a 100% crash rate in it), but then game buged out in Tifa's house(stuck on piano, no voiceline when i entered her room). But afrer relaunch - crash when i was playing on piano. So yeah...

My specs - Win 11 Pro, i5 12400, 32gb Ram, RX 7600
Same here :

16gb Ram 4800
Ryzen 7800X3D
AMD RX 7600
Win11

LowLevelFatalError [File:unknown] [Line:952]
QueryBatch->RBuffer->GetResource()->Map(0, &ranged, MappedResult)
failed
at
D:/j/workspace/E2/PC/e2p_BuW64MSt/cw/Engine/Source/Runtime/D3D12RHI/Private/D3D12Query.cpp:728
With error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED

It arrives random on any scene transition.

I will try to reduce the pfs or quality... Or disable VSync since its know to be problematic...

No dice for me, any settings - same result.

Que te esta diciendo exactamente? lo mismo que al del inicio? porque tengo entendido que todas las NVIDIA anteriores a las RT estan teniendo problemas
7900XT here, and I had crash after crash just getting through the first CS. DXGI_ERROR_REMOVED

I made some adjustments, however, and I've managed a complete playthrough of the first chapter without any further disruptions. *knock on wood*

1) Driver update to 24.12.1 (was running 24.10.1)
2) Change FFVII Rebirth in-game setting Options->Graphics->Dynamic Resolution Scaling (Maximum) to 66%, down from the 100% default it began with.

I haven't noticed any degradation in quality, but it dropped my GPU utilization by a good 20-40% for the opening cutscenes.

HTH
