The PC port is a hot mess

What took them so long to port this thing to PC? It's literally horrible, crashed 3 times already. Textures won't load properly. LODs are completely messed up. Combat sometimes won't start even if you are standing in front of guys. No widescreen support. No mouse cursor in the main menu (wtf?) Cutscenes frequently just softlock the game. Skipping cutscenes also softlocks and crashes the game.
TL:DR one of the worst ports on PC I've seen, even by Squares Standards.

Edit: I tried it on Steam Deck as well and am having the same issues with broken LOD-levels, low-resolution textures and softlocking (Why is it verified? I don't know). This is not a VRAM issue as some people have suggested, the game just cannot load the resources it needs fast enough because it is poorly optimized for PCs.

I also tried the newest AMD Drivers from 2 days ago, the issue persists on PC.

Intel i5-13600K
AMD RX 7900XTX
64GB RAM
No, it's not my PC. I own 1300 games on Steam, they all run fine.

If I try to open any menu while in the game, all I get is a black screen and the only way is Alt+f4. Until I need the menu it more or less "works" but I also have the texture bug.

Frame jitter happen often when cutscenes cutting to different camera.

Always have the 'stuck' moment
It is pretty common on UE4 games.

Explain that this people can not read Minimum System Requirements, and used all FSR upscaler to survive for the last years, shocker when there is no FSR support in a game right ?

Ohhh wait the people who complain cant even run the game because ther Hardware is too old, not just by a little bit, it is too old by a Damn lot 5 years in PC hardware is like 30 years for a human and i do not belive that you will be able to do things in your 50s as you was in your 20s when it comes to physical fitness.

funnier i run it on a tv connected to my tv for i like couche gaming and i got a second monitor but i am mostly impressed it runs fine on high settings with my setup

Maybe he should try install it on an SSD or need more Ram or VRam, loading stutters mostly came from slow or not enough memory.

defo sounds like a you problem. I'm on 100% dlss max everything on a 3080 and its running at 90-100fps at 2k.

pop is is gonna happen if you have 'background model detail' on anything other than ultra. They added this for pc and im so glad they did looks amazing now. no crashes, no stuttering, no pixelation

Its definitely not the case

Cpu: intel core i5-13600k

Gpu: geforce rtx 4070 12 gb

Have texture loading issues as well as cutscense and some segments not loading due to textures

My PC is barely 2 years old, and has slightly above recommended specs.
If the game works well for you, you are lucky and I am happy for you but do not excuse this mess as a good port. As a consumer, you deserve better than a coinflip as to IF a game will work

game is beautiful on my pc 4070super but turns out shaders didn’t save and after 4 hours playing can’t save my game had to uninstall and now reinstalling to see if it helps but if it can’t save wtf i have 1tb open and it says not enough space to save shader cache

Very disappointed in the fact that the DLC claims to have family sharing just because they allowed you access to the digital art book and music, which I could just Google and YouTube for.

I just wanted my goodies on my second account because one is for online games and the is for offline, in case I have an online like BDO afking.

Not to mention all the day one but issues. Had to restart chapter one five times to complete it because everyone was burning but pointing to the mansion. Let's not forget I can't even access any shrines on my saved file and now have to start over completely because I've been locked. Lol awesome.

Just sad and pathetic they'll trap people into these purchases with the lure of pretty in game items you'll grow out of in five hours.

But also sad and pathetic that I'm not playing the game out of spite until they give me access to DLC on my family account because steam won't refund me because I spent more time troubleshooting and trying to to get the game run than SE and/or Steam did. Lol
