You should try and find a used 2080.

Work more and get a 4070 TI Super.
Keep saving. There's no sense in spending $300 on something that will never adequately do the job. Worst that happens is you pick up the game later for less money.

I'm not a fan of Nvidia. But if you want to have no problems with all games, take rtx.
With Intel, some games won't work on release day, old games may have problems, etc.

$300 not enough to buy a decent GPU really. You need at least a 4070 nowadays.
6800 XT is recommended for budget AMD gpus.

For nvidia RTX series, nvidia isn't called ngridia for no reason LOL

I'd wait and get a rtx 5000 series, in case in part 3 they disable that one you linked from working. currently waiting for refund, i'm using a Titan XP 12GB. should been able to run this game fine.

Agree with this advice.
get 2nd hand RTX
that.... probably won't get you too far. I suggest you collect bit more money for 50 series.
I'm pretty sure you can find a 3080 or 70 Ti or something for that price if you look hard enough. The price of 3000 series is gonna plumet (so will 4000 series to some degree).
RTX 5070 with vram of only 12 gb has MSRP of 550 dollars. If you want the RTX 50 series, I would not buy anything below 5080 and I'd wait until 5080 has 5080 ti or 5080 ti super to replace the original 5080.

But this will take at least two years for the final version of 5080 to come out. So it's really up to y ou.

This is what I'm considering doing. My 3080 FE is still doing just fine, but I can feel the sting of only having 10 GB.
