Game is crashing after nibelhaum town.. Anybody experiencing same? my rig is good enough to play it. 4080

Mine crashed after rescuing a certain someone 10 min into the game. Running a 7900xtx

Same. Getting Fatal Error crash right after Nibelheim flashback. RTX 4070 TI, Intel Core I9 13900KF Processor, 32GB RAM, Win10 Pro 64. Hope it gets a solution or a fix soon.

Same problem here, i can't get past the flashback because Cloud mega buster swords my game whenever i try to interact with Tifa's piano.

If you are getting DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG as the crash report, then use these steps in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/ARK/comments/17plsn4/possible_fix_for_dxgi_error_device_removed_with/

It worked for me after having that fatalerror crash.

Same problem here, PC is up to par for it too. Looks like i'm not the only one experiencing this. I can't believe this is happening i just want to play QQ

yep mine crashed at the same part, i shouldnt have to skip it. but i'll see if skipping it works.

Was able to skip. As soon as Cloud was done crawling to get to Sephiroth I immediately skipped and successfully got to the next screen

Reporting Back:

I moved my FFVII Rebirth install to my M.2 NvMe drive.

Immediate results; Game loads faster, textures are there, eliminating the need for them to pop-in, and I was able to successfully skip the cutscene that was causing the crash.

Going to run some additional tests, but that's tomorrows stuff.

Let me know if anyone wants to know if I find out anything more tomorrow!

tl;dr: Moved game to a faster SSD. Crashing stopped.

Same problem, fatal error after the Nibelheim flashback, I tried skipping the scene but it keeps giving me the error. Also running a 7800xt

Game consistently crashes while shaders are loading. Can even make it to the Title screen.
