How many people will upgrade their cards to play this?
I just finished FF7 Remake last night and eagerly waited for Rebirth. Turns out though I can't even play it with a 5700XT card. Mega disappointed :t0cactuar::cactuar:

I've already been looking to get a new card anyways, but realistically how many people with upgrade their cards to a £300 to £400 card that can run it?

Finally, GPUs are starting to become available in my country.

1200-1400 euro for a RTX 5070 TI :).
Terrible price.

No, no, it is improving!

And the 5080 is no longer 2500. Only 2000... :fmad:

This is the same level of copium seen when the 30 series started coming back in stock, it will not get better.

Yeah I feel sorry for the european fellas that try to get Nvidia cards. Nvidia needs to have some sort of distribution hub over there so their products dont get hit with every surcharge imaginable before it hits the shelves in stores

No copium. Can you not tell the tone?

I'm obviously not going to buy at an insanely inflated price, but I'm going to have to buy at a somewhat inflated price.

That's why I'm regularly checking prices and price graphs. And the 5080 did indeed drop 500 euros since launch, from super inflated to... still super inflated.

The appearance of the 5000 series weirdly coincided here with disappearance of the 4000 series. A 4070 ti super was 1000 euros last week...

But picking the perfect moment to buy will be very hard, with all the graphs and diligent research in the world...

Because they will never be available at MSRP.

That's why nobody should buy, let Ngreedias scam editions rot on shelves and in warehouses.

Yes, the classic principles vs. getting your enjoyment dilema. Which will you choose?

if you upgrade now you wont have to upgrade later? im pretty sure down the line your gonna end up dishing out that money for a new gpu or a new pc anyway.

Not gonna see any meaningful gains until 60 series and w/e the next Radeon series will be called. 50 series and 9000 series offer barely anything over 40 series and 7000 series.

50 series is having a terrible launch with incremental performance gains. They're never not going to be overpriced. Good luck with that i guess.
