Stuttering every 3 seconds
4070 super and 7600x, game literally is either 120 fps or 0 with no in between.

Even just panning the camera around the same scene causes stutter. Anyone have a fix?

Edit: fixed
So kind of a weird thing, Dlss and resolution scaling are located in two completely separate sections of the settings, despite directly influencing each other. With resolution scaling at 100, I figured DLSS would simply handle this via just being turned on but apparently you have to manual select a dynamic resolution from a completely different area in the menu to upscale from with 0 indication that it affects DLSS performance.

did you compile shaders at the start?

lower the resolution if you did

You might be maxing out some ressources, like vram.

There's no chance, even with the settings on medium the game is stuttering.

It's even stuttering in prerendered videos.
you have a bottleneck somewhere

bring up task manager and hit the performance tab while you are playing snd you can see what component is not keeping up

DLSS is not in the game as i know.
Do not try to find a problem with your hardware, it is a problem with the unreal engine and poor optimization, not with your hardware.

Scroll down farther in the graphics menu. Its there.
I didn't even know you could scroll down at first until I accidentally did so.

Trust me i'm aware lol, people saying the hardware is the issue are insane. The 4070 super is more than capable, its just square designed and conveyed the settings menu like ♥♥♥♥ and it made me go chimp mode trying to figure out what the problem was.
I did solve it and updated the OP however.

you probably skipped the shader compile when you first load the game and its doing as you play

Its fixed. Dlss requires you to turn on resolution scaling from the complete other end of the menu to work.

Thanks

You said it all and it’s correct!

33% min and 100% max and more lag in cutscenes
