Pre-order items available later?
Hi,

I’ve missed the preorder bonus items. Some of them seem very important for completionism.
Do you think these items will be ever available to buy or are they gone forever?
I know it’s FOMO but I like 100% Final Fantasy games and knowing that I can’t get all summon materias feels bad. Bad enough that I don’t want to pay a full price for “incomplete” version of the game :(
Maybe it’s silly but it’s real for me.

i got it because i am a huge fan but tbh nothing in there is really worth it. the gear is outclassed in a few hours and the summons do too. magic jar is the only one that is good all game but pheonix from base game is better and you only need 1
It says on the listing that pre-order items may be available to purchase later.

You can probably pick up a key from GMG or Humble that still has the pre-order bonus.

I think FF7 Remake on ps4 had the same note and these items were never again available as add-ons.
Feels bad. Now I will wait and see if these items will be ever available to buy or if Square will release a complete edition later on like they did with Integrade on PlayStation. Only that version came out on PC.
I’m willing to pay extra for the items but at the same time I don’t want to buy the game if I’m not sure about getting everything.

Intergrade had the preorder/bonus items in for FF7, yeah?

I've just checked and it does. The Integrade version has all summon materias I
've got for preordering FF7 Remake deluxe on ps4. It had bonus materias:
Carbuncle, Chocobo Chick, Cactuar. It had some other items as well but meterias were the most important. I can't imagine missing out on three unique summon materias forever in a game like this.

I also think that not being able to buy pre-order bonus right now for people who missed out is a huge, huge mistake by Square. I'm 100% sure many players will be waiting for a full game now. So a missed sell for the items and for the game itself.

I am just pissed that I paid for them but cannot use them because
"Value does't allow family sharing of pre order items"

Either Square Enix don't know how Steam works or they are just saying BS because that is a lie. They never that anyway.

From what I know this is true (just googled it). Other games seem to work like that with some exceptions. The person who first activates the game gets the items.
