No working on GTX cards
The game is not working on GTX cards because it requires ray tracing cores to run
So very goodbye GTX cards especially GTX 1080 :(

That is a shame to hear, I saw that indianna jones and the great circle has the same issue with GTX cards, its interesting because stalker 2 can run on those cards…

Seems true Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth PC performance analysis

Just to top it all off, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth uses the DirectX 12 Ultimate API and Shader Model 6.6, so if your operating system and graphics card don't support them, then you won't be able to play the game full stop—in other words, if you have a GeForce GTX or a pre-RDNA 2 AMD card, then no Rebirth for you.

It's not the first game which requires RTX. GTX is a decade old technology. In the IT world it is like ancient tech already. To be honest I’m starting to consider if it’s time to replace my RTX3080… so I would say that for sure you should replace that GTX.
Weird. A Steam Deck can run it. LOL

oh come on the 3080 is still pretty much overkill...

Untrue, chronologically it is the second game. Before came Indiana Jones and the Great Circle that also required RTX features for illumination.

I can confirm this based on MaxDood's review. He tried running the game on a 1080 Ti and the game doesn't work. He says the game doesn't recognize the directX needed to run the game.
