Why is this game so cheap out of the gate?
Usually with Square Games they release them on Epic Games store at the full price of 70 dollars and it takes FOREVER for them to go down in price. Even recently I never saw FF7 Remake on sale for less than 35-40 bucks. So it's strange to me that right out of the game we get a huge discount. Is this just because Square is hurting for cash or maybe cheeped out on the port? I know no one knows for sure, but what's the speculation. It must make others wonder too.

Remake released on EGS and got heavily criticized for it+ran like crap due to the stutter (Which is still there to this day, but not as bad.) Even when it went to steam, people weren't as interested. So, I would asume, they are being nice/learned their lesson and are offering a launch deal.

Got it. Yea I am sure selling an old game at full price hurt them. Kingdom Hearts was even older and they kept it really high. But at the same time, might as well grab it now because no way Square discounts this more than 40 percent for a while right?

I doubt you'll see it for 40 for a year or more.

The FF16 PC port had a similar discount, and after seeing the performance issues it had, I feel like it was priced appropriately.

Not 40 I meant 40 percent, but it's 30 percent. Yea I am saying i doubt it will get discounted more than this for a while.

So it's broken? They didn't fix it at all? Think it's best to wait on Rebirth?

xD Well it's 43 on greenman, so I thought that's what you meant.

FF16's port is not broken, it's just a VERY demanding game for no reason and at some points, has performance issues. For the most part I had no issues with it, but some times it made my computer quite toasty, despite it having no reason to lol.

They did that literally once.
48 is nothing I would have easily paid 60 for this game.

Because they want you to buy it, they know PC gamers like sales, and they want you to feel like it's urgent that you buy it NOW.

lol. Clearly it's working. That's basically the dilemma. Fear that I will miss out on the price for a year or so.
