Why can we not download the game early so we can play it right as it comes out? Not that big of a deal, but still an AWFUL decision.

There's no solid DRM on it. They don't want it cracked and out there before release.

Facts, luckily I have fiber, so it'll take about 20ish mins, but I feel for people who still are running on some 50Mbps speeds.

Steam preload files are locked up with strong encryption which means you couldn't do anything with the files anyway until the proper release date.
