Does this game have a recap of the previous game? If I beat remake a long time ago and I'm on my 2nd playthrough, should I skip to Rebirth?

I have a very dumb dilemma lol. I beat Remake and Intergrade a long time ago. I'm currently on my 2nd playthrough of Remake--around Aerith's chapter in the orphanage.

Looking at my old clear save, I still have roughly 20 hours to play. I actually want to pre-order Rebirth AND wait for 3070 benchmarks. However, I'm genuinely tempted to play Rebirth. Furthermore, I'm worried that by the time I beat Remake, I'll be burnt out of FF7 itself.

I can confirm that this does have a recap as seen on the console version. I can't remember if it is a separate main menu option or if it was lumped into the intro. That same video has also been made available on youtube. I know it is on Sony's channel but probably also Square's.

I am not sure if it is very effective for people entering the trilogy with Rebirth but I reckon it is more than serviceable for someone just in need of a refresher.

You unlock some small bonuses too if you play on the same device that has saves from Remake and the Intermission DLC. If you are on a different device you can reinstall Remake which will then cause steam to download your saves via the cloud. Considering we haven't been given an opportunity to preload Rebirth I guess it wouldn't be too crazy to redownload Remake for that specific purpose if necessary.

I mean, it's not like I'll miss pertinent information that the Remake Recap won't explain, no? Lmfao. The ♥♥♥♥ I remember most about Remake are the goofy ahh moment like pre-Corneo mansion quests or the tall flight of stairs OTW to rescue Aerith.
