remake and rebirth or just rebirth?
Are they the same game or completely different?

I haven't played Final Fantasy since Super Nintendo. I'm a bit out of touch.

Different games, Rebirth is a direct sequel to Remake.

remake is the first game and rebirth is the second game

Both !!!

Though it is one story it is being released as a trilogy (just like the 'Lord Of The Rings' books and movies). The third part is in work. I've read that they plan to release part 3 in 2027.

Different. But you should play OG FFVII first.

definitely remake and later rebirth. playing rebirth alone is like watching star wars 2 without watching 1

AS FAR AS I KNOW REBIRTH IS MORE OPENWORLD VS PREVIOUS...I REMEMBER FF7 ON PLAYSTATION 1...THAT WAS GOOD TIMES N GAMES WAS SOLD AS CD/DVD ROMS .....DO ANY GAMES EVEN SELL THAT WAY IN 2025?

SO HOW MANY OF U HAVE PLAYED THE PS1 FF7 ?

if ur interested in this game then u need to play 2 games before it , ff7 remake with intermission DLC >> crisis core then play ff7 rebirth

Agree w/ CyberOni.

FF7 Remake -> Crisis Core FF7 Reunion -> FF7 Rebirth

Bonus points if you play the original FF7 to further appreciate the above.
Any idea where the story leaves off in this installment?

fyi if you get stutters you can put remake into direct x 11 mode and solve it completely. the only trade off is no hdr

to do that you just right click and hit properties on it in steam, and then put -dx11 in launch options
