Think I'll get the bonus materia on steam, if my remake saves are in epic?

I bought remake for epic when it first launched, but Rebirth on steam. Do you think I'll still get the bonus materia for having the save files? I'm thinking I might not, because it says something about the save files being under the same account. No big deal either way. Just curious

I simply made a new folder where the Steam version puts its saves, and I copied and pasted my Epic saves over to it. Just to make sure.

Maybe, but as you noted it does explicitly say the same account needs to be used. I know you said "no big deal", but if anyone does care about the materia, then they're probably better staying on Epic if that's where they bought the first game.

Depends on how deep it goes, if all it does is read saves from a specified folder, then it will work regardless of where the saves came from, like, I could upload my saves and anyone could use them as long as they rename the folder to their Steam ID rather than mine.

I forgot how it worked for Epic.. if you had to register SE account then hopefully it would be the same account. If Steam is not checking for SE account then it might not work
