does anybody know anything about preinstalling?
would it be or not? and if it would - when?

Likely not. FFXVI didn’t have it and FFVII Remake didn’t have it, so I’m not sure they’d start now.

I think your right it's unlikely to have it but just to add a note ff7 remake couldn't have it as it was released on Epic store first Steam only got it long after the pc version was released.

i mean maybe you can predownload it but not start it untill launch, this maybe will be the solution.
i think 1 - 3 days Pre Download is possible because alot of games did it.
Really one month for 150gb ? What are you doing when you buy new games ? wait a month untill they get downloaded ? I mean basicly every game is around 100 - 150 gb right now.

Square Enix is notorious for not having preinstall on their products when it comes to PC gaming. They have this whole belief that preinstalls = pirating and they won't even open the doors for that conversation. It's just something you have to accept if you want to play SE games on the PC

The last game i pre installed from SE was Final Fantasy 14 Addon, but this was not the typical Singelplayer game, so maybe you are right. All we can do is wait and see.

No local net provider competition, constant interruptions, complete loss of connection for hours (or days) at a time, plus data caps... it's a deadly combination.

Do we know the exact time of day Square releases games on steam?
