Did PC not get one? I remember the PS4 version did before its initial launch.
PS got one but I don't remember PC getting a demo. Hopefully it does, the game is massive and I'm worried about the performance of the port.
FFXVI get one because yep ps5 too just to port it
For performance you have to be aware of some thing: open area/ field so yep
Vram needed doesn't underestimate that . If it's the case ? just set the texture quality on mediumsee low if you just have in the 10go vram or a bit more.
If 4k need in the 16go vram or bit less...If you use dlss quality at least probably no between 12/ 14go vram
Fcat is since numerous years Ultra setting doesn't exist anymore really (in fcat no true scaling comparing to console version witch itself is restrained )
So as always i STRONGLY advertise to use ONLY optimal settings aka the best ones. Perf wise/cost in performance with no quality loss
For stay true even put some high quality setting for filtering texture had better effect generally that goes from high to "Ultra" see in worst case even medium is no different.
Resident evil remake are very good example of how false are the "Ultra" settings
If they was true diferences yes i don't say but not the case sinc epast the 2015 ish year easily.
It's not rare to see a 20/30% boost in fps almost for free due to that.
Don't want gamers to know they're getting a ♥♥♥♥ port with technical issues galore. I'm sure I'm not the only one who didn't buy XVI after playing the disaster piece that was that malformed demo.
I'd say they should get Nixxes to do their porting, because at least they dedicate resources to their ports, but even they're slacking of late, had to refund Ghost of Tsushima because of utterly abysmal performance.
Chances are they are too scared to get clowned for a crappy PC port until its too late for refunds
FF16 had a demo on PS5 and that same demo was put on PC and people could see with their own eyes how bad the port was without giving Square Money
Maybe people have to accept that they have bad PC's and a 5 year old pc is nothing then outdated, upgrade your PC or Cry somewhere else, since when in history in PC gaming you was able to play the highest Graphic settings at even higher Resolution with alot of FPS with a GPU/CPU that is 5 years old ? i do not remember, and just because people buy a RTX 4060/4070 this does not mean this cards was made for 4k Ultra settings, this cards even struggle at 1440p Ultra settings.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Was a good port and solide, graphic was good and FPS was good too. But keep on crying that you can not play the newest game with your outdated or low end hardware on the highest settings.
Too bad XVI's demo was a ♥♥♥♥-show on a 10900K with a 3090.
